The genesis of XD is based on the goal of creating the most evolved point of sale technology platform in the market, together with an intuitive and customizable interface.

XD was born in the year 2012 and has about 30 employees with extensive experience in the area of Management Software and a course of more than 20 years of experience in developing solutions that have become leaders in the sector.

XD currently has offices in Seville(Spain), São Paulo(Brazil), Porto and Lisbon(Portugal) and has more than 28,000 customers.

Technology Platform

XD solutions are based on a multi-operating system platform (Windows, Linux and Mac), Multi Database (SQlite,MS SQL, MySQL, MariaDB) that can be located locally or in the Cloud.

29/10/2018 - President of Portugal brings together the entrepreneurs of the 2018 Web Summit

XD Software, at the invitation of the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, was in a meeting with representatives of companies that will participate in this year's edition of the international summit on technology and innovation - Web Summit.

It was with enthusiasm that Rui Cordeiro, CCO of XD demonstrated to the President this technological innovation using the Microsoft Hololens mixed reality glasses, which allows the projection of the software "XD VR POS" without the user losing sight of the environment that surrounds him.

Also attending at this meeting were Deputy Minister of Economy Pedro Siza Vieira, Fernando Medina, Mayor of Lisbon and Paddy Cosgrave, co-founder of the Web Summit
